One good improvement for Bangladesh has been their bowling. Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman have been superb, with massive support from Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, and Taijul Islam. The trio of spinners has often troubled top teams, and can prove to be a handful if the UAE surfaces offer even a hint of turn.
The first game played in Abu Dhabi between Afghanistan & Hong Kong did not offer much help for the spinners. While Bangladesh has enough medium-pace bowlers, spin is their stronger suit. Meanwhile, Hong Kong need to improve on their batting if they have to compete against top teams. They could only manage 94 in their opening game against the Afghans, and they need to find ways of keeping the scoreboard ticking without losing many wickets in the process.
